1. Service Scope & Limitations
ProTechy specializes in laptop performance optimization, hardware upgrades, and minor board-level troubleshooting (e.g., resolving "No Display" errors, CMOS battery faults, and "No Boot Device" issues). We do not perform advanced motherboard reconstructions such as heavy micro-soldering or chip reballing. Devices requiring such repairs will be diagnosed and returned to the customer with a clear explanation.
2. Price Variations
Prices listed on our website are estimates based on standard models. Final pricing may vary depending on the specific laptop model, complexity of disassembly (e.g., inverted motherboards), and current hardware market prices for SSDs and RAM. We always confirm the final price with you before starting any work. No surprises.
3. Data Liability
Customers are strongly advised to back up all personal data before handing over their laptop. While we take utmost care, ProTechy is not responsible for any accidental data loss, software corruption, or hard drive failure during the optimization or cloning process. For OS installations, we confirm with you before formatting anything.
4. Pre-existing Damage
We document the physical condition of the laptop upon receipt. ProTechy is not liable for pre-existing broken hinges, cracked screens, degraded batteries, or failing hard drives that manifest symptoms during routine service. Any pre-existing issues will be noted and communicated to you upfront.
5. Warranty Terms
All main service packages include a 1-Month Service Warranty. If the same issue recurs within 30 days of service, we will fix it free of charge. This warranty covers the specific service performed and does not extend to new or unrelated hardware failures.
6. Payment Policy
Payment is due after service completion and your satisfaction. We accept Cash, UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, and Bank Transfer. Parts purchased for hardware upgrades must be paid for separately and are non-refundable once installed.
