1. Who Can Contribute
Anyone with a Google account or a registered email account on ProTechy can submit blog posts. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By submitting a post, you confirm that you are the original author of the content.
2. Content Guidelines
All submitted posts must be related to technology — laptops, hardware, software, repairs, performance tips, or related topics. Posts must be:
- Original — not copied from other websites or AI-generated without significant editing
- Accurate — factually correct to the best of your knowledge
- At least 200 words in length
- Written in English or Hindi
- Free from spam, promotional links, or affiliate links
3. Prohibited Content
The following content will be immediately rejected and may result in account suspension:
- Hate speech, discrimination, or offensive language
- Adult, violent, or illegal content
- Misinformation or deliberately false technical claims
- Spam, advertisements, or self-promotional posts unrelated to tech
- Content that infringes on copyright or intellectual property
- Personal attacks on individuals or businesses
4. Review & Approval Process
Every submitted post goes through admin review before it is published on the ProTechy blog. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or request edits to any submission. Approval is not guaranteed. You will see the status of your post ("Pending", "Approved", or "Rejected") in your contributor dashboard. We do not provide detailed rejection reasons for every post.
5. Content Ownership & License
You retain ownership of the content you write. By submitting a post, you grant ProTechy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, and promote your post on protechy.in and associated social media channels. Your display name will be shown as the author. We will not sell your content to third parties.
6. Account & Data Privacy
When you register or sign in with Google, we store only your display name, email address, and a unique user ID in our database — solely to identify you as the author of your posts. We never store your password. Passwords for email/password accounts are managed entirely by Google Firebase Authentication using industry-standard encryption. We do not have access to your password at any point.
Your email address is visible only to ProTechy admins and is never shared publicly or with third parties. You can request deletion of your account and all associated posts by emailing admin@protechy.in.
7. Editing & Removal
ProTechy reserves the right to edit approved posts for formatting, grammar, or clarity without changing the core meaning. We also reserve the right to remove any published post at any time if it is found to violate these guidelines, contains inaccurate information, or is reported by users.
